Quality & Food Safety Technologist - $5,000 Sign On Bonus! (Greenville, MS)

Job Description:

The role will require the close working and cooperation with Operations and the Quality team to drive the sites quality performance.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Food Science or science related technical field
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Hygiene
• Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Food Manufacturing environment working in Quality, Food Safety, Engineering or Product/Process development
  
  

What will be your key responsibilities?

• QMP implementation across the site
  
  

HACCP: Develop, implement, maintain and update the HACCP studies of across the site

Factory Hygiene: Develop, Implement and maintain across the Site

Exception Follow-Up: Ensure that actions agreed by the Q&FS Team Leader are implemented

Manage CAPA Process

Record Verification: Perform weekly checks to ensure records are fully completed; specifically for traceability and CCP records. Report non-compliances to Q&FS team leader

Manage the Internal Audit program across the site

Lead Food Defense Program

Quality Monitoring: Ensure that evaluation of finished product takes place as planned;

Participate in Material Risk Assessment meetings and provide input

Product-related incident owner - guide, lead, and support the team as required.
