The Sales Team Manager is specifically responsible for the overall strategy and budget success of the sales team operating in a specific market vertical. This position will combine sales with business development activities applied to a highly technical product engineered to order for Customers and be the interface between Engineering, Operations, Marketing and Field Service.

Essential Duties:
- Directly manage Industry Sales Managers and Inside Sales Representatives within vertical industry segment
- Responsible for the overall sales funnel management for direct personnel and associated success for meeting or exceeding established individual and team goals
- Develop and maintain knowledge of leading industry trends and incorporate into sales strategy
- Translate industry sales strategy into tactical plan to attain goals with assigned sales team
- Travel with Industry Sales Managers and Channel Partners / Representatives
- Ensure the team is collectively working together to close opportunities
- Lead weekly team meeting to ensure team is collaborating and effectively working on team goals associated with the team’s strategy and targets
- Manage the National Accounts for Customers assigned in industry / market vertical
- Develop strategic plans for targeted industry application focus & approach jointly with Marketing and Engineering teams
- Collaborate with fellow other segment Industry Team Managers for opportunities, best practices and continuity
- Team player with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and a passion for performing at a high level in a cross-functional environment
- Highly organized individual with abilities in prioritization, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to develop technical proficiency for products
- 10+ years’ sales experience specifically with technical / engineered products or related education and/or experience
- 5+ years’ experience directly managing a sales group / team
- Position requires 50% travel.
