Please note this position is based in our Support Office in Phoenix, AZ. As the Sr. Director of Replenishment - Distributor Continuous Improvement, the key priority is working collaboratively with Sr. Leaders of key Distributors to develop strategies driving operational efficiencies that deliver overall corporate goals for sales, in-stocks, and inventory goals. Internally, this role will reach broadly across our Category Management, Supply Chain, IT, and Operations teams to evaluate current business opportunities and work with Distributors to resolve. You will partner with Sprouts financial teams to help coordinate contractual agreements which include operational, financial, and business objectives.
This role is responsible for two Sr. Managers and four team members who work closely with our internal and external partners to drive overall strategies. You and your team will provide weekly updates on business performance via scorecards and dashboards to a broad audience, including our executive team. This group will also be responsible for providing meaningful exceptions that drive focus in meeting our objectives both internally and externally.
This position will require travel, meeting periodically with Distributors and key partners.
Overview Of Responsibilities
Joint Business Plans: Build strategies and alignment between Sprouts and Distributors.
Accountability: Drive accountability across all Distributors to the contract and initiatives
Forecasting Alignment with Distributors: Organize SIOP meetings to predict business outcomes and align with overall financial and supply-chain goals.
Insights Sharing: Disseminate crucial business insights to both internal and external partners using Power BI and other Microsoft tools.
Category Management: Collaborate with Category leadership to address business challenges.
Efficiency Initiatives: Develop impactful initiatives to enhance business efficiency and accuracy.
Holiday Schedules: Coordinate with Stores and Replenishment teams for seasonal distributions that align to delivery schedules.
Order Accuracy: Partner with Operations and Sprouts/Distributors to ensure precise inbound orders through defined audit processes along with having the right inventory at the right place at the right time.
Contractual Management: Oversee, maintain, and revise contractual agreements as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred with a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience working in similar roles, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Ability to successfully manage concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
Effective leadership to build a strong team while holding teams accountable internally and externally.
Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
Strong sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
Relex and Invafresh experience preferred or similar replenishment tools
Ability to meet deadlines
Deep knowledge of Power BI, or similar reporting toolsets
Clear communication outlining business/system opportunities
A continuous sense of curiosity
