We are representing a Fortune 500 Automotive Supplier who is actively seeking a Senior Quality Manager. This organization was recently named as a "TOP PLACES TO WORK" predicated on compensation, culture, and employee satisfaction. The Senior Quality Manager will report directly to the VP/General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP!
POSITION OVERVIEW
Candidate will report to the Plant General Manager while leading a department of (6) Engineers and assuming budgetary ownership over a "flagship" 800+ employee plant.
Complete financial/budgetary ownership of department
Candidate will assume ownership over both the plant quality function while working cross functionally with different departments
Candidate will work to train and develop (2) Quality Leaders.
Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent
Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Degree is preferred for consideration
Candidate should have at least 5 years of automotive Quality management experience
Candidate should be well versed in IATF-16949
Experience with Stamping, BIW/Welding, Assembly
