Senior Software Test Engineer R&D - Greater Boston MA Medical Device - Permanent up to 150k base + 10% bonus

Please see the below requirements for a Senior Software Test Engineer to join a global medical device OEM/product development group that focusses on peripheral vascular and coronary interventions. The organization generates over $2B in annual revenue. This opportunity sits within an R&D group and this individual contributor will be tasked with performing manual and automated unit testing, creating test systems for software and hardware ensuring validation, participating in technical reviews while conducting code analysis and technical reports, responsible for software test deliverables in compliance with IEC 62304 and the companies QMS. This is a hybrid role onsite 3 days a week (only mandatory day is Wednesdays).

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering w/ demonstrated experience in Software Engineering) MS preferred
• 5+ years (3+ years with MS) of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience developing and executing manual and automated test scripts and test cases
• Experience with embedded operating systems such as QNX, Linux and various RTOS's
• Demonstrated experience with software controlled electromechanical medical products - IEC 60601
• Full medical product development life-cycle and Agile experience is ideal but not a must have
