Job Title: SharePoint Architect

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect SharePoint solutions, including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
  • Lead the development and implementation of SharePoint-based applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications and design documents.
  • Oversee the integration of SharePoint with other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of SharePoint environments.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
  • Perform SharePoint migrations and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint architecture and performance.
  • Stay current with SharePoint best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a SharePoint Architect, with a strong understanding of SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint development technologies, including SPFx, CSOM, REST API, PowerShell, and .NET.
  • Experience with SharePoint migrations and upgrades.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, content types, workflows, and custom solutions.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 and related services such as Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer or SharePoint Administrator.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and database design.
  • Experience with other collaboration tools and platforms.
  • Project management experience.
