Analyze the current state of the SharePoint system, including existing documentation as a starting point.
Engage with users, particularly the Marketing team, to understand requirements and develop proof of concept ideas.
Implement configuration changes and recommendations to improve the SharePoint system.
Ensure proper permissions and site setup with a focus on security best practices.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and document existing and revised processes related to SharePoint development and security.
Provide training and support to end users on SharePoint solutions, security practices, and new processes.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong business analysis skills to engage with users and develop proof of concept ideas.
Proven experience in SharePoint development, configuration, and implementation.
Security-focused mindset with the ability to determine appropriate permissions and implement security measures.
Process improvement and documentation skills to leave behind clear guidelines for future reference.
Ability to work on-site initially to engage with end users and technical team members, then transition to remote work with flexibility for after-hours support if needed.
