about the role

the social media intern will support our social media marketing manager and social media coordinator. they will assist with social media community management, editing + executing social media posts across all platforms, finding new influencers, and managing influencer communications.

you will

• collaborate with the social + marketing teams in conceptualizing + creating content across all platforms, with an emphasis on tiktok + instagram
• assist social media coordinator with editing videos + making instagram stories
• write captions and reformat organic social posts for facebook + threads
• schedule social content across platforms
• identify on-brand influencers + coordinate influencer gifting
• monitor and respond to comments, post + story tags
• assist with on-site photoshoots in our Jersey City HQ including sample coordination and uploading/organizing new content for usage across various teams

you have

• creativity + fearless risk-taking
• a pulse on pop culture + the latest trends
• a good eye for design, aesthetics, + strong attention to detail
• fierce passion for social media
• comfort in front of + behind camera
• ability to work independently effectively - but also able to collaborate with others in a small team environment
• strong multitasking abilities
• experience with capcut + canva. adobe suite and sprout social are a plus

*this position is mostly remote, but you must be available to be on-site bi-weekly for content creation and photoshoots at HQ in Jersey City
