Introduction: Join the client as a Social Video Producer. Our award-winning content studio is seeking a super creative social video editor with strong storytelling skills and media-brand experience. Team is here to drive audience acquisition through short-form videos and other graphics-driven content, and this role demands mastery of video production specifically tuned for social media. We need a creative storyteller who can take an idea and run with it, finding engaging and (sometimes) boundary-pushing solutions for different social platforms.
Responsibilities
Produce high-quality social video content that aligns with our brand identity and social media strategy.
Adapt and optimize video content for different social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Reimagine video assets from one form (YouTube) to another (TikTok), crafting new kinds of stories from existing asset and writing text-on-screen copy
Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to brainstorm video ideas.
Analyze performance metrics to gauge the success of video content and make recommendations for future projects.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and video production technology, such as fast-developing AI platforms
Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through execution.
Manage content production timelines effectively using project management tools like Asana.
Requirements
At least 2 years of professional video editing experience at a media organization or media company.
Experience crafting and telling effective stories, specific to social platforms
Experience with in-app video production tools and off-platform software, including a mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere)
Proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to produce content that is consistent with the various voices of our brands.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experienced in creating videos and graphics for major media brands and/or major advertising agencies.
Strong storytelling ability through text, images and sound.
Knowledge of best practices across various social media platforms.
