North America Senior HR Manager at Caudalie

Objective:


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Spa Manager to oversee the daily operations of our spa facility. The Spa Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, managing spa staff, ensuring smooth operation of spa treatments, and maximizing profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spa management, excellent leadership skills, and a dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences.


Responsibilities:


Develop Team:

  • Build and inspire a high-performance team that deliversoutstanding service experiences
  • Implement all education programs for selling skills, customer service, products and operations
  • Ensure team is highly skilled to deliver an instant beauty facial and skin scanner culture, demonstrating services and sharingrelevant brand/product information
  • Conduct monthly coaching sessions with team to communicate objectives, set goals and follow up on progress as needed
  • Set expectations, coach, and reinforce behavior daily
  • Maintain a cohesive, cooperative work environment through team building and motivation


Business Management:

  • Oversee spa operations and ensure all staff provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere focused on achievement of sales and spa goals and KPIS.
  • Implements strategies to support marketing calendar and business needs
  • Achieve personal and daily spa sales targets
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in spa management and wellness services.


Customer Experiences:

  • Set expectations, act as a brand ambassador, lead by example and reinforce behavior to ensure the entire team consistently delivers outstanding customer experiences
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure team stays connected with all clients in point of sale (iPad) database through conducting thank you calls for visits, follow up calls, etc.
  • Manage all room setup as outlined in the spa guidelines including keeping clean and organized treatment rooms and assisting with laundry needs
  • Ensure spa is fully stocked of all merchandise and visual standards are to Caudalie standards.
  • Ensure the staff is trained and has a full knowledge of all products, services, and client ceremony protocols.


Manage Inventory, Operations, Budgeting and Spa Merchandising:

  • Prepare, coordinate and ensure an accurate physical inventory - monthly
  • Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Execute all visual merchandising updates to align with marketing calendar, window changes, primary/secondary table set ups, new launch displays, signage placement, events, etc.
  • Perform opening/closing procedures as necessary.
  • Order retail, backbar and all supplies required. Maintain proper inventory levels
  • Create weekly/monthly staff schedules and spa calendar
  • Confirm clients’ appointments via telephone
  • Manage cash deposits and ensure drawer counts are accurate daily.
  • Place merchandise orders in a timely fashion based upon anticipated sales
  • Oversee operational tasks and delegate necessary responsibilities to the team
  • Ensure staff is following schedules, arrive and depart in a timely manner
  • Responsible for event planning, developing partnerships, to create monthly outsourcing in each
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.


Human Resources:

  • Recruit, hire, train and supervise spa staff, including therapists and front desk sales associates
  • Responsible for addressing any staffing or schedule issues, day off requests, attendance, or performance issues
  • Develop and implement spa policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operation.
  • Ensures all staff are in appropriate uniform and that all grooming standards are achieved
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and personal growth among spa staff.

Qualifications;


Education/Experience

  • Minimum of high school diploma, college preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in spa management or related role, preferably in the cosmetics/beauty industry.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire spa staff.
  • Proven ability to drive results through team development



Physical Demands

  • Will be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, carry, push/pull, reach and bend.
  • Position involves constant moving, standing and sitting.
  • Involves lifting at least 30 lbs.

  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving, communication and networking skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff at all levels.
  • Proficiency in technology, Microsoft Office, Outlook, tables (i.e. iPad), and telephone services.
  • Flexible, desire to learn and grow, self-motivated and results driven.
  • Have ability to complete independent tasks while also in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented, high energy, positive, passionate and organized.
  • A passion for wellness and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.



Work Hours

  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend and holiday hours.


Compensation range is 85K-90K plus bonus!
