Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy Excellence (CSE), GCSO, located in Raritan, NJ, United States.

In this role, you will have the outstanding opportunity to lead and collaborate on critical work within GCSO, shaping the future of commercial strategy excellence. You will have the chance to make a direct impact by driving GCSO's launch planning platform and capability, play a key role in enhancing GCSO Value Excellence, and you will also engage in commercial strategy consulting, partnering with commercial teams on their programs' strategic choices.

In GCSO's CSE team, we advance commercialization strategy in collaboration with Therapeutic Area teams (from Oncology, Immunology, Neuroscience, and Cardiopulmonary), as well as assist with global-regional launch planning across global functions (Commercial, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial Data Science, Communications) and with Regional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will lead and collaborate on critical work within GCSO, such as:

Launch Planning Platform/Tool and Capability for GCSO

  • Collaborate on strategic development of the platform and capability
  • Support launch to GCSO, and Partner with J&J Learn to develop training
  • Upkeep and maintain the capability, in collaboration with JJT

GCSO Value Excellence

  • Collaborate on content upgrade and simplification
  • Support launch to GCSO, and Partner with J&J Learn to develop training
  • Upkeep and maintain the materials and framework

Commercial Strategy Consulting

  • Partner within CSE on specific program engagements
  • Strategic focus on late development R&D programs and commercial strategy elements

Institutionalize and operationalize the above critical resources (and others) within GCSO and J&J IM overall.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, advanced degree preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • At least 5 years of validated experience in commercial strategy, and/or marketing, in Biotech, Pharmaceuticals or Medical Devices
  • Outstanding ability to think strategically and analyze data effectively
  • Experience with product launches, organizational change, and internal communications
  • Strong project management abilities with a track record of successful implementation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; and the ability to collaborate reliably with internal partners to identify commonalities, use resources, and achieve goals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred:

  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
  • Knowledge of launch planning processes, including benchmarks
  • Familiarity with Value Excellence and Launch Excellence
  • Proven experience working with teams in product development / drug development

Other:

  • Proficiency in English (additional language skills are a plus)
  • Limited national and international travel may be required

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 118000 to 203550.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market."
