5-10 years’ experience in a general accounting experience, either in a public accounting firm or in a private corporate environment
Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field
Highly detail-oriented and organized
Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
Assist the Corporate Controller with the annual audit and other miscellaneous projects
Document and monitor internal controls in support of auditing team
Participates in the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, amortization schedules and consolidation / elimination entries
Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
Proficient in Excel
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification preferred
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
Proficient in using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skill
