Knowledge of Fibre Channel configurations in storage hardware (HBAs), fibre channel switches, including multipath configuration

Advanced technical knowledge in storage methodologies, design, and implementation.

Advanced working knowledge of fiber channel SAN/NASs, Advanced knowledge of FC and TCP/IP networking,

Experience of managing fiber channel SAN switches like Cisco switches

Knowledge in Data Backup, Archival & Disaster Recovery

Strong understanding of Windows Server environment

Activities

Storage Capacity management

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Training/certification is a plus.

VMware/Hyper-V and Windows/Linux Server basic admin knowledge would be added advantage

Participate & run recovery drills once every quarter and restore it back to the production site which will include building backup server and restoring data.

Report any hardware issue on the datadomain, firewall, switch within the vault to Dell support and coordinate any support/hardware issues.

Run capacity planning report to understand the growth and make sure additional hardware is requested on time.

Provide suggestions to increase security by bringing in additional software/hardware
