Summary

Job Description:

The Student Technology Implementation Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between the Office of Graduate and Professional Studies and the Workday Student Project. Through this role, the Student Technology Implementation Project Manager will provide guidance on the student experience with a focus on advising, curriculum, and academic policies impacting graduate students throughout the Workday Student implementation. The incumbent will collaborate with other members of OGPS to provide feedback and make decisions as needed.

Additionally, the Student Technology Implementation Project Manager will support the Graduate Admissions Salesforce project serving as a secondary lead on this project and liaising among OGPS, OIT and the academic units. Finally, the incumbent will support the Assistant Dean of Graduate Academic Administration in academic regulatory matters.

The Student Technology Implementation Project Manager will report directly to the Assistant Dean of Graduate Academic Administration and will collaborate with the Director of Graduate Student Success and Office Management, the Graduate Admissions and Advising leads across campus, and the Office of Information Technology.

Workday Student Implementation

  • Serve as Workstream Lead to manage and execute project deliverables for OGPS
  • Participate as a subject matter expert in advising, curriculum, and academic policies, applying this expertise to identify critical datapoints for integration and inform project initiatives
  • Act as liaison between key stakeholders and Workday project team, defining business requirements, providing recommendations, and advocating the OGPS perspective on all processes, policies, and decisions
  • Contribute to development and management of project plans, task lists, timelines, and project documentation
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs are met throughout the project
  • Report updates to OGPS leadership on project progress and milestones ensuring clear communication of achievements and identification of potential risks and issues
  • Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure successful implementation and integration with systems
  • Develop and deliver training to OGPS system users

Graduate Admissions Salesforce Implementation

  • Serve as secondary lead for Graduate Admissions Salesforce Implementation Product Owner
  • Participate in discovery and design sessions to establish standardized business practices in graduate application management, application review, scholarship processes, and decisioning
  • Assist in solution testing to confirm the design and build meet the requirements

Academic Administration and Operations Support

  • Assist the Assistant Dean of Graduate Academic Administration in reviewing requests for exceptions to graduate academic regulations
  • On a limited basis, render decisions on exceptions to graduate academic regulations
  • Provide ongoing support to all graduate admissions and advising teams as a resource and amplifier for any concerns raised

Special Projects

  • Assist with OGPS special projects and tasks as needed

Salary Range

  • $80,000-100,000/year
