Are you a seasoned Manufacturing Consultant with a passion for driving operational excellence? Do you possess a strong background in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or procurement?


Our client seeks a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Consultant to play a pivotal role in revolutionizing client operations. As a strategic partner with client leadership, you'll collaborate with executive-level professionals to optimize processes, enhance supply chains, and foster sustainable business growth.


Location

Remote with required travel based on client project needs


Ideal candidates should reside in the Eastern or Central timezone near a major airport

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle, from scoping to successful implementation, ensuring optimal project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques to assess operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and craft innovative solutions to drive efficiency and quality improvements.
  • Harness your expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence methodologies to orchestrate process optimizations that minimize waste and elevate performance.
  • Shape supply chain strategies by collaborating with clients to enhance demand forecasting, inventory management, logistics, and distribution operations.
  • Craft and implement procurement and sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings, improved supplier relationships, and supply chain resilience.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify new market opportunities, conduct market research, and drive the development of breakthrough products and services.
  • Present executive-level reports and proposals that communicate complex concepts, data-driven insights, and strategic recommendations with clarity and impact.


Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of demonstrated success in management consulting, focusing on manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement.
  • Progressive manufacturing experience
  • Profound understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and procurement strategies across diverse industries.
  • Expertise in applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence methodologies to pinpoint bottlenecks and engineer efficient solutions.
  • Proven ability to leverage data analysis for decision-making, employing tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Python to uncover actionable insights.
  • Adept in supply chain optimization, from demand forecasting to logistics, with a record of driving measurable improvements.
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills to convey intricate ideas persuasively to varied audiences.
  • Language proficiency beyond English is a compelling advantage.
  • Collaborative spirit, leadership qualities, and a proactive mindset to thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
