Syndicated Loan Manager

Top-tier financial services company is seeking a Manager within their syndicate loan processing team. They are looking for an experienced professional with excellent leadership, interpersonal communication, organization, and time management skills to join their Global Special Services Team.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee the daily processing activities for all asset types (Loans, Bonds, ABS, Equities, CDS) ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

- Supervise a team of analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance management.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies by reviewing source documentation and communication from the agent bank.

- Ensure proper monitoring of facilities and handle exception items by reviewing system-generated reports.

- Act as a key point of contact for high-level inquiries from internal management and external clients, ensuring timely and effective communication.

- Coordinate with various departments to gather pertinent information and ensure accurate data reflection in the system.

- Handle complex client and departmental requests, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.

- Lead special projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.

- Implement and drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risks.

- Maintain strong relationships with senior members of client organizations, addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

Basic Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team.

- Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and poise.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize complex issues and projects to completion.

- Proficiency in internet-based applications and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.

- Demonstrated ability to think laterally, analyze issues effectively, and question current processes for improvements.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and complex information clearly and concisely.

- Goal-oriented with a proactive attitude, capable of working well in teams and independently.

- Experience in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high client satisfaction.

- Ability to manage projects independently when required.

- Customer service experience from any field is a plus.

- Syndicated loan experience is a big plus.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

- 5+ years of work experience within the financial and/or syndicated loan industry.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Finance, or Economics.

- Experience with WSO and/or LoanIQ processing.

- Background in private debt and broadly syndicated loan processing.

- Experience in syndicated loan-specific cash reconciliation and/or position reconciliation.

- Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau a plus.
