Leading Wholesale Petroleum/ Gasoline Retail Distribution company seeks Territory Sales Manager with 5+ years selling Gasoline or Diesel to distributors, retail or gas stations (must have experience selling gasoline or diesel to distributors or gas station retail), to drive expansion and sales growth of their West Coast markets in a new business / hunter sales manager role. The role will be driving branded license sales and rack gasoline and diesel sales for this well known oil brand throughout the territories, targeting new retail/ gas station chains and growing the existing customer base in market. We're looking for someone from a gasoline sales background with a strong sales track record pipelining new business, new logo acquisition and someone who is comfortable cold calling, networking in new markets and winning the opportunity to pitch new business and face to face sales meetings. The role is remote with +/- 70% travel in the W. coast states (CA, OR, AZ, NM, WA).


Responsibilities include: Develop and secure a pipeline of new opportunities by utilizing various methods such as cold calling, face to face meetings, and networking; Partner with customers to keep their marketing strategy competitive, using of all marketing, advertising, image, and credit card program strategy; Maintain expert knowledge of industry trends and market intelligence; conduct the SWOT analysis for your territory.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree; Or combination of equivalent experience and education considered.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated outside sales representative experience required; Petroleum and Gasoline distributor / retail sales required.
  • Strong track record of success driving sales and new business acquisition.
  • Ability to travel regularly to meet prospective and established customers (~ 70%)
