Traveling Construction Superintendent - Midwest

DIRECT HIRE: Seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent for an amazing opportunity, primarily for various parts of Kansas. The successful candidate will also travel to other states around the Midwest.

  • This position offers full benefits, including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance and 401k and more
  • Salary is between $100k to $130k based on experience
  • Shared bonus
  • $150 a day per diem for travelers
  • Will be working primarily on federal government health care projects such as VA Hospitals, performing renovations/TI/remodels
  • Projects are up to $10 million worth

Responsibilities for Construction Superintendent:

  • Coordinate with subcontractors responsible for each activity and ensure a clear understanding of their project responsibilities per the contract
  • Onsite supervision to promptly answer any questions subcontractors have
  • Provide clear and frequent communication to Project Team (Ownership, Project Manager, Architect, and Field Construction Manager)

Qualifications for Construction Superintendent:

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial Superintendent construction experience is required
  • Experience working with the Army Corps of Engineers is highly preferred (not essential)
  • Experience with renovations/TI/remodels on federal government health care projects such as VA Hospitals is highly preferred (not essential)
  • Computer literate
