VivaAerobus is currently searching for a US Commercial Sr Manager in Texas!


As a US Commercial Sr Manager, based in Texas, you will be responsible for driving the commercial success of the airline within the Texas region. This role involves strategic sales and marketing initiatives, revenue management, customer engagement, and the development of strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will lead efforts to increase market share, optimize revenue, and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction within Texas. Additionally, this role will serve as a strong link between the Texas region and various departments at headquarters, including Marketing, Revenue Management, Network Planning, and Distribution.


Your derivables will be:


  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets within Texas.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, making data-driven adjustments to strategies as necessary.
  • Advise HQ Marketing Department on regional insights and opportunities to enhance brand visibility and market presence in Texas.
  • Collaborate with HQ Marketing Department on advertising, promotions, and public relations activities to support sales objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including corporate clients, travel agents, and frequent flyers.
  • Implement customer loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance customer retention.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to understand competitive dynamics and customer preferences within Texas.
  • Develop strategic plans based on market insights to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Optimize commercial distribution channels, including direct sales, GDS, online platforms, and third-party agents.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with local travel agencies, corporate clients, and other partners.
  • Ensure all commercial activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and government agencies as necessary.



Our ideal candidate:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the airline industry, with a strong focus on sales and marketing.
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding commercial targets.
  • Deep understanding of the Texas market and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • The role may require frequent travel within Texas( IAH - AUS - SAT ) -Mexico and occasional national travel, availability to travel is a must.
