As the Vice President of Channel Strategy and Operations at Managed Health Care Associates (MHA Inc), you will be crucial in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to optimize channel performance and drive business growth. You will oversee the overall channel management strategy, ensure the seamless functioning of all wholesaler and distribution channels, and enhance partnerships to maximize market presence and profitability. Your expertise will be instrumental in achieving the company's objectives and maintaining its position as a leader in the healthcare industry.


What You’ll Be Doing

Develop and Implement Channel Strategy: Formulate comprehensive channel distribution and wholesaler strategies aligned with the company's business goals and objectives across multiple business lines. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities to maximize revenue in channel management, expand channel opportunities, and improve channel operations.

Channel Performance Optimization: Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing channels (wholesalers and distributors, and pharmaceutical manufacturers). Build and manage KPI. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance channel efficiency and effectiveness.

Partnership Management: Nurture and strengthen corporate relationships with existing channel partners, including and with a focus on wholesalers and distributors. Identify potential new partners and negotiate agreements to expand the company's channel network.

Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market research to identify potential market segments, industry trends, and customer preferences. Utilize data-driven insights to inform channel strategies and decision-making.

Sales and Revenue Growth: Collaborate with the sales, account management, and operations teams to drive revenue growth through channel initiatives. Develop sales incentive programs and promotional campaigns to boost channel performance.

Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with channel operations. Implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard business interests.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to align channel strategies with overall business objectives and ensure smooth operations.

Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage budgets for channel operations. Allocate resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes within financial constraints.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all channel operations adhere to applicable industry regulations and standards.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, Healthcare, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in channel management, business development, or related roles within the healthcare industry. Healthcare experience could include any number of segments, including biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, data aggregation, pharmacy benefit management, and group purchasing.

Proven track record managing a business development process that will include a net revenue line across a complex matrixed environment.

Relationship-building and maintenance skills with external and internal business partners.

Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
