As VP of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Crisp and driving the success of our clients nationwide. Your mission is clear: build and lead a team of elite sales professionals, setting the standard for excellence and exceeding every goal. We're in search of a visionary Vice President of Sales who can revolutionize our sales structure and propel our team to new heights of success. This role is not just about maintaining our current trajectory but about scaling what we're already doing and unlocking the full potential of our outbound efforts (including ensuring each and every goal is hit month after month — no excuses and no whining).

What you’ll do:

  • Drive the achievement of ambitious sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
  • Lead the hiring, training, development, and coaching of new sales team members, with the goal of assembling a team of top-tier performers ("A players").
  • Continuously improve the sales process, refining strategies, and developing impactful sales decks to optimize conversion rates.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations at events, showcasing Crisp's value proposition and industry-leading solutions to potential clients and partners .
  • Partner with our Marketing team to maximize marketing investments and ensure no lead slips through the cracks
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process of new sales team members, providing training and support
  • Conduct regular audits of sales calls and interactions to ensure adherence to quality standards and sales processes.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to sales representatives based on call audit findings, with the goal of improving their performance and sales techniques.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales representatives' skills and knowledge, ensuring continuous improvement in call handling and pipeline management.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure leads are progressing through the sales funnel efficiently and effectively.
  • Optimize a formalized prospecting strategy for both inbound and outbound lead qualification.
  • Identify opportunities, create sales campaigns/strategies, and manage channels that will lead to an increase in pipeline and achievement of sales targets.
  • Develop a plan to implement a systematic training program for onboarding and up-skilling BDRs and AEs.
  • Conduct team meetings and 1-on-1 performance review meetings with each team member to keep all goals on track
  • Own quality control on all sales-related data to ensure accurate information is logged.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a proven track record of scaling companies by at least 2X or 200% in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), demonstrating tangible results in driving exponential growth from inception to current standing.
  • Has managed 5+ direct reports and 15+ indirect reports, showcasing strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Embodies the role of a Player Coach, willing and able to roll up their sleeves, pick up the phone, and close deals when necessary, while also effectively leading and coaching a sales team.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of business dynamics and the perspective of a business owner, including the mindset of CEOs and the value of business coaching.
  • Has undergone extensive sales training, such as Sandler Certification/Training, Black Swan, and other relevant programs, with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Makes data-driven decisions, leveraging analytics and insights to drive strategic initiatives and optimize performance.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with AI tools and technologies, utilizing them effectively to enhance sales processes and drive efficiency.
  • Obsessively lives, breathes, and eats the challenge of scaling businesses, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to success.
  • Doesn't just talk a big game about what they can do, but instead approaches sales with the precision of a scientist in a lab, leveraging a deep understanding of human behavior and scalable strategies.
  • Possesses full sales fluency, showcasing an unparalleled depth of knowledge and understanding across all aspects of the sales process.
  • Thrives in an in-office environment and is comfortable with commuting in each day to our West Midtown Headquarters
  • Has over 10 years of experience in sales leadership
