Our client is a company that sells a course on how to start a YouTube channel and promote it using YouTube. They are seeking a skilled Part-Time Video Editor to create engaging and visually appealing content for their YouTube channel.
Responsibilities:
Edit and post-produce 8 YouTube videos per month, ensuring a consistent and professional quality
Collaborate with the scriptwriting team to understand the vision and objectives for each video
Incorporate attention-grabbing visuals, graphics, and animations to enhance viewer engagement
Optimize video content for search engine visibility and audience retention
Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software, techniques, and industry best practices
Ensure timely delivery of edited videos according to the established production schedule
Requirements
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or comparable alternatives
Excellent understanding of video production techniques, including editing, color grading, and visual effects
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Familiarity with YouTube optimization strategies and audience engagement tactics
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
