POSITION SUMMARY

The Web Content Coordinator is responsible for transferring, arranging, and refining content on the website to ensure it remains up-to-date and easily accessible to users. This role contributes to the creation and dissemination of content aligned with the company's communication and branding strategies, while also focusing on enhancing user experience (UX) and search engine optimization (SEO). By assisting in website strategy implementation, the Web Content Coordinator aims to cultivate a compelling online environment that fosters user engagement and fosters a profound understanding of the brand and offerings.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Web Development, and content contributors to identify short-term projects and long-term content management objectives.

• Update and manage web content utilizing established CMS templates or collaborating with web developers.

• Develop new pages as per stakeholder requirements, maintaining a consistent brand-focused content approach.

• Validate and ensure accuracy of new content before deployment.

• Strive for consistency across the site in both content and user experience.

• Efficiently manage multiple web content projects concurrently, including publication and broader strategy initiatives, and maintain transparent communication with team members regarding project statuses.

• Propose and execute improvements to bolster online marketing and SEO efforts, enhance UI/UX, and uphold best practices for web publishing within an enterprise CMS.


QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:


Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience within a relevant field such as web management, SEO, digital publishing, or content management.


Experience:

• 1-5 years of pertinent experience in web content management, digital marketing, or digital publishing.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple intricate web projects simultaneously while adhering to a web content publication schedule.

• While preferred, content writing experience is not mandatory.


Skills and Knowledge:

• Proficiency in CMS functionality, with experience in Optimizely being advantageous.

• In-depth understanding of web publishing technology, encompassing site search, taxonomy, metadata, structured content, and multimedia.

• Familiarity with W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

• Knowledge of responsive design principles as they pertain to web content.

• Solid grasp of SEO principles, including keyword research, domain authority, page rankings, and usability.

• Understanding of information architecture, web usability, audience segmentation/journeys, web governance, and effective web writing practices.

• Capability to learn and enhance proficiency in our enterprise web content management system.

• Basic graphic design manipulation skills.

• Strong editing and proofreading capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to teamwork.
