- What I'd like to do now is show you a sample recording session all the way through. I'm going to use Camtasia. But what I'm focusing on here are the techniques that you do while recording, not so much the software, this should work no matter which tool you choose to use. I've already gotten my application open. In this case, we're going to use Adobe Photoshop and I've opened an image into Adobe Camera Raw. Things are set here but I need to make sure that I actually have the screen recording software rolling. So to start things off, I'll go into Camtasia in this case and I've made a new project so I'll click on Record. Now I need to just double check that everything's configured. We ran through these steps just a moment ago. I've got my recording size set, my camera and my audio and microphone. And it looks like levels are pretty good although I see that I'm hitting red just a little bit. Let's go ahead and just double check…
