- Your typical work day is filled with interruptions and your computer is a big part of that. Fortunately, you can control how and when you're interrupted by going into the Notification Center. You'll find this in the task bar. And if you click on it, this allows you to see notifications. Now, you'll notice that this allows you to change things. For example, when will the device update? I've got it set so that it's only going to update outside of my active work hours, which is great. You also see, as we scroll through here, we can control what type of notifications we're getting. For example, I'm going to turn Location off. And you see how I'm in snooze mode or this mode here for Focus assist. We could turn this to get only priority alarms, alarms only, or generally have it off. I recommend Priority only. However, it's important that we customize this.
