After the success of the One Million Step Challenge that Adelphi Research completed last year, we thought it was time to take on our next venture, so we took a bit of inspiration from the imminent start of the Summer Olympics!   Throughout June, our Diabetes and Metabolic Taskforce designed a triathlon event, where we set out to complete as many triathlons as possible as a team. The pistol was fired on 3rd June, and we hit the finish line on 30th June, completing a total of 44 Olympic triathlons!   The purpose of this challenge was to raise awareness of diabetes, by increasing the team’s fitness and improving wellbeing, as well as sparking a bit of healthy competition!    Whilst we have not been formally collecting pledges this year, if you are able, please consider donating to Diabetes UK and the American Diabetes Association (ADA), who alongside our pharmaceutical partners, continue to do great work for diabetes. #TriathlonChallenge #DiabetesAwareness #AdelphiResearch

Happy Pride Month! Diversity, equity and inclusion are a core focus for the team all year round. But this month, it is important for us to celebrate! We are hosting a Pride party in our UK office, and sharing the history of Pride as a reminder of the hardship and achievements of the LGBTQIA+ community! Our US team have run a Collection Drive for The Attic Youth Center located in Philadelphia, PA. Our team members have donated clothing, hygiene products, tech/supplies and beauty supplies to this nonprofit throughout the month of June.
