The new EU Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Regulation (AMLR) will set standards and minimize local requirements from the perspective of cross-border banks and financial service providers. This new regulatory environment will require a number of implementation projects by obliged entities and auditors, and regulators will continue to play an important role.
