At Blink, staying inspired and refreshed to continue growing and delivering our best work is foundational. Scott Lambridis, Chief Design Officer, shared design team highlights from #Config2024: As a distributed team, Config was a wonderful opportunity to sharpen the saw together. Many of us meeting each other for the first time, and basking in a mix of product feature rollouts and existential design inspiration. During our design team meeting last week, Config attendees shared their favorite moments, sparking conversation around: ▪ Design's impact on business; helping organizations become more design-led ▪ Keeping it human ▪ Adding personal fingerprints ▪ The importance of fidgetability in software ▪ Workflow improvements that simplify the basics to enable us to focus on the hard, juicy problems we love most #Design #Research #Blink #UX #UI Figma

Our UX team decided to dive deep and explore - and here's our verdict! The latest features are Great - but still need a lot of work in order to be able to completely replace the current processes. Nevertheless, there are a few scenarios where these features can be put to good use. This week our design team attended the latest Framework webinar hosted by Figma, and it didn’t disappoint! Design systems are only getting stronger and as we strive to continuously refine our digital products, alignment between design and development remains paramount. A standout introduction from the session was Code Connect - a tool designed to bridge the gap between design and development, bringing production-ready code snippets directly into Figma. This integration promises to streamline the transition from design to development, ensuring consistency, reducing the scope for discrepancies and enhancing speed of delivery. At Cab Engine, our team models thrive off united knowledge, technical excellence and communication. The potential of Code Connect to enhance this is immense. We can’t wait to explore the full capabilities of Code Connect and how we can use it to continue delivering flawless, client-focused solutions with efficiency and accuracy at every turn. #figma #codeconnect #ui #ux #development

This is very vaguely data related but #Day11 is here after a short break! Was recently thinking about UI/UX coz I've been seeing friends post about it, so I went to check it out and here were the two fundamental concepts I learned: Wireframing and Prototyping 1. Wireframing: Building the Blueprint Imagine you're building a house. Before laying the bricks and adding the details, you start with a blueprint—a rough sketch outlining the structure and layout. That’s exactly what wireframing is in UI/UX design. It’s the skeleton of our digital product, mapping out where everything will go—like navigation menus, buttons, and content placement. It’s all about clarity and structure before diving into the aesthetics. 2. Prototyping: Bringing Ideas to Life The next step is to bring that blueprint to life. Prototyping is like creating a mock-up or a prototype car model. It's where we add functionality and interaction to our wireframe, allowing stakeholders and users to click through and experience how the product will work in real-time. It’s our chance to test ideas, refine interactions, and iron out any kinks before the final build. Think of it as the test drive before committing to production. These two steps—wireframing and prototyping—lay the groundwork for intuitive and user-friendly designs. By focusing on structure and interaction early on, we ensure our digital solutions not only look great but also provide seamless experiences for our users. #UIUXDesign #Wireframing #Prototyping #DigitalExperience #UserExperience #DesignThinking #11DaysOfData img src: https://lnkd.in/g3k95FFR (article is also pretty useful)

I love facts & numbers :) Here are a few about the Coherent Design System. Our first major release happened in November '23. We published it not only internally, but also as a free version at the Figma Community. 🚀 We do not have much data, but I am grateful to all the 4K users, 221 likes for our work, and all the feedback, questions, and kind words you shared. 💖You are awesome! The numbers on the chart below show the actual internal usage of the CDS. I see a pretty good trend here. 📈 And you? At least 5 of the projects for our partners are completely covered by it, and live workshops are filled with admiration for how easily we can achieve necessary results. The last fact for today: we are on the verge of the next release and it is going to be awesome! 🆕 Get ready for unboxing! 🎁 #designsystems #figma #ux #sustainability
