At Convena Polymers, we are not just a company that has been around for over a century; we are a team and a #CircularEconomy enabler.
As a Circular Economy Enabler, we are committed to sustainability and the circular economy. We offer a wide range of high-performance virgin and re-processed polymers, including PFA, PVDF, FEP, PTFE, ETFE, PEEK, PPS, silicones and silanes as well as a purging agent filled with upcycled glass wool. What makes us unique? We provide highest quality re-granulated high-performance plastics and even offer carbon footprint certificates for our rETFE and rPPS. More carbon footprints are in the pipeline.
Convena Polymers serves the EMEA and South American markets. However, we are not alone in our mission. We collaborate with re-processors in the US, Japan, and Europe to ensure the highest quality products and a smaller environmental footprint by collecting and re-processing close to our scrap sources.
Our commitment to innovation extends to the latest developments in the industry. At Convena, we are proud to be involved in cutting-edge projects, like our PVDF powder for Lithium-Ion battery cathodes and separator coatings. Like many, we are currently navigating challenges, such as the proposed PFAS restriction in the EU. Our team is working tirelessly to find alternatives for fluorinated polymers in certain applications. In applications where we do not see a possible alternative, we conduct targeted PFAS Testing at the LGA Products laboratories at Tuv Rheinland.
Our core Value? Single-Use is Abuse. At the core of our decisions lies a belief in the importance of sustainability.
