When first class honours earn you a first class surprise on US Independence Day Travelling the US as family, our son Nicholas Woermann today got the info on his final results of his master degree in Neurosciences at UCL (University College London): 🥇First Class Honours🥇 As it is Independence day 🇺🇸 in the US today, we had a nice chat with the check-in crew at the airport on our flight to San Francisco and casually mentioned the special day that today also marks for our son. And here is what makes outstanding customer experience: We were upgraded to first class to honour this special occasion for my son. A massive thank you to Victoria and Tara from Alaska Airlines for making our son’s day even more extra special. Clients have a long memory. Dear Ben Minicucci we certainly will treasure this priceless experience that speaks volumes about your brand. As proud parents of our wonderful son Nicholas we are also grateful that life shows him with experiences like this, that focus, hard work and tenacity yield a lot of positive surprises of which today was a special one. Congrats to your son! Also, same here for Alaska Airlines ... flown with them ever since the merger with Virgin America. 3x to Hawaii, 1 to NYC, 1 to Vegas, 1 to Phoenix, and a week ago tomorrow to Boston (Celtics championship parade--got there Friday morning from Seattle, back home Saturday morning at 1am). Trip #4 to Hawaii next month. Cant wait. Alaska Airlines is the best. 🤙💯
Many congratulations Christoph Woermann, FCIM and Nicholas Woermann. The fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree. And the result is 🏅First Class🏅all around. These are truly ‘Money can’t buy’ moments. You will remember it always. Enjoy your holiday. Britta Woermann

Heartiest congratulations to Nicholas, well deserved! and thank you Christoph Woermann, FCIM for sharing this wonderful moment in your family’s life! (Were you really going to take your son in coach on this important day in his life? 😂)
I love this story Christoph Woermann, FCIM. What an excellent customer first attitude from Alaska Airlines and a special memory for you son and possibly now a life long brand advocate for AA.
Good things happen to good people Christoph. Congratulations to Nicholas on his achievement and hope you and your family are enjoying your vacation in America.
Christophe, congratulations on all fronts. My parents were upgraded to First Class by Virgin when they first visited me in the US. I’ve told the story a 1000 (now 1001) times!
