And you'll get a cool new T-shirt.   We're remodeling a schoolyard in Oakland - our first of 2024 and 11th overall - next Tuesday 3/26 through Thursday 3/28, and we’d love to have extra hands to help paint murals, assemble playground structures, build outdoor classrooms and gardens, mix concrete, and much more. As part of an ambitious effort to transform the school experience for a generation of Oakland students, we are committed to raising and investing $50 million+ over the next three school years as we seek to have the greatest possible impact on kids in our community across all three pillars of our work.

Working alongside 100+ volunteers and a great group of partners to create something extraordinary for Oakland kids never gets old. We’re so happy to bring our 4th remodeled Oakland schoolyard to life. We have FIVE more of these in 2023 (and many more in the coming years), so if you’re based in the Bay Area and want to spend part of a day giving back, I can guarantee a fun and fulfilling time.
