Carly Chinitz, CSW is the Event Production Manager at Convene One Boston Place. Originally from Acton, Massachusetts, she moved to the city when she attended Boston University. She was almost a dance major but ended up majoring in another performance-driven subject: hospitality management.
We had the opportunity to sit down with Carly and learn about her time at Convene (two years and counting!), her love for Boston, public transportation, and how she spends her time outside of work.

Moving from discrete simple services to working in the complex world of the nature of people, families and communities, is a shift to designing from the person. It is in the humanising of our work. Not only does this help people to get back in control of their lives, but demand and the costs consumed drop.
This is about true strength based public sector transformation.
This should be an interesting collection of the work that is ongoing all around the country in strength based working.
#strengthbased, #publicsector

Interesting data now appearing from the Covid vaccinations in the US 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023
As this data appears, the world can better assess the risks and benefits of vaccines and success or failure of rapid mandated programs
It can also assess the validity of the data sources, including VEARs reports she quotes from.

Today I discovered something amazing. The link between Tau half-life and its velocity and the mass of the electron.
We have much to learn about the non-physical attributes of human biology and their implications for biological heath and wellbeing.
I saw the following video and understood the pain and suffering that scientists have created in using that poorly thought out approach to prevent viral transmission.
IgG is not able to prevent transmission. It is not resident in epithelial linings of the lung and respiratory system.
Why do people consider that approach to be useful, I never understood.
Biology is complicated. More complicated than physics. More complicated than cosmology. We need to understand 13.8 billion years of evolution as a biologist. Using a technology that is only a few years old without any scientific robustness to its investigation was always going to lead to a global disaster. The train wreck is just starting.

If anyone wants to hear solid evidence about why diligent, genuinely concerned citizens, including me were sounding the alarm from 2020 onwards about the risks of these products, look no further.
I knew deep within my soul that what I was doing was right and just (because I took the time to read and get myself informed away from mainstream sources of controlled messaging) and I don’t regret anything I did to try and warn people.
To this date, I have not had a single apology from anyone that publicly or privately criticised, argued or judged me negatively for my stance.
Does that speak volumes about the lack of humility and stubborn pride that exists across the populace or perhaps it’s due to denial and ongoing cognitive dissonance? I completely understand how that and fear can play a part.
We are justified to be angry about the disgraceful, reckless behaviour of the profiteers behind these products (they knew the significant risks before they were released, it’s in the clinical trial documentation) and the lack of due diligence by those in public office, healthcare, The Regulator and the media for going along with a delusion that these were “safe and effective”.
Equally bad was the censorship of cheaper drugs proven to work well on alleviating C£V$D symptoms and the criticism of proven science regarding natural immunity, which of course meant that these products for the vast majority were not required.
But that wouldn’t have been good for business……
Are you B Corp ® ?
🤔 Having been in and around a #BCorp application process, I've been thinking about some of the advantages, and maybe even some disadvantages of becoming a B Corp company, (as I see them).
☀ For those who do not know, B Corp is "Purpose-driven branding", it signals to consumers that your organization is committed to social and environmental responsibility, which can enhance your brand reputation and attract like-minded customers.
👩🏽💻 In my role at mustard, I can see how being a B Corp company would attract talent, showing that work will be purpose driven, which can surely only be a good thing, right?
👨👨👧👦 Access to networks: B Corps are part of a global community of businesses committed to using business as a force for good. This network can provide opportunities for collaboration, learning, and sharing best practices - buisness wide, another positive ✅
⚖ But is it for everyone, and if you have gone down the B Corp pathway, has it helped you?
💵 Balancing financial goals with social and environmental objectives can be challenging, especially in industries where profit maximization is traditionally the primary focus, but obviously it cannot be all about 💰, that wouldn't be very B Corp!
🌳 Rigorous standards: B Corps must meet rigorous social and environmental performance standards set by B Lab, the nonprofit behind the certification. Meeting these standards may require significant changes to business practices which may well be time consuming, and/or costly.
🌍 As somebody who would class themselves as enviromentally conscious and certainly tries to all they can to improve their own little social & environmental corner I B(corp)elive this certification is something many organizations should be persuing. I guess I am just intrigued to hear first hand experiences.
And if you are attending this Interaction Ltd | B Corp™ - see you there and whether it's all completed, or you are just starting out on your B Corp journey, would love to chat.
