This year, we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Art Collection Deutsche Börse – our collection of contemporary photography! 📷 Since its founding, the collection has seen continuous growth and now comprises more than 2,300 works by around 160 artists from 35 countries. Dedicated to photography since the mid-20th century, the visual languages and photographic approaches represented are as diverse as the background, age, or artistic method of the photographers, ranging from documentary to conceptual approaches. The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG appointed Stephanie Eckermann (47) as a new member of the Executive Board. As of 1 June, she will be leading the newly formed Post-Trading division, which comprises the Securities Services and Fund Services businesses with our post-trading service provider Clearstream. https://lnkd.in/eRwBuxWM

Yesterday evening, the German Startup Awards ceremony took place in Berlin. Winners were honoured in four different categories at #GSA24 – in presence of Federal Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Action Robert Habeck and 500 invited guests. This year, we had the opportunity to present one of those categories, "Investor of the Year 2024”, with our board member Thomas Book handing over the prize to the proud winners. Congratulations to Gloria Baeuerlein from Puzzle Ventures, Jan Miczaika from HV Capital and all other award-winning first-time and serial founders, impact #entrepreneurs, business angels and #investors! And shout-out to Startup-Verband, who once again organised a festive gala evening for our #startups!

Who would have thought that our Annual General Meeting would be the perfect place for two friends to reunite? ✈🌎   Despina and Nikos, former high school friends from Greece, were our surprise guests at today’s #AGM. After leaving Greece to study abroad, they lost touch until just a few months ago, when Despina, who now works at Deutsche Börse, received a message from Nikos – now a new colleague from then recently acquired SimCorp. We invited them to our #DB1AGM to join our CEO Theodor Weimer on stage and share their story. #DBGlife #OneGlobalTeam
