At Terminal49, our obsession with data quality goes beyond mere tracking. We empower logistics professionals to start their day not with questions, but with clear, actionable insights. Here’s how we make a difference: ✔️ Proactive Shipment Management: Every morning, we deliver a snapshot of your shipments, highlighting what needs your attention and why—be it early arrivals or potential delays. This ensures you can manage operations and customer expectations seamlessly. ✔️ Spotting Risks Before They Become Roadblocks: Our platform doesn’t just report data—it predicts and highlights potential issues. By integrating real-time data from ocean carriers and terminals, we proactively identify containers at risk of incurring charges, enabling preemptive action to avoid costly penalties. ✔️ Empowering Decisions with Prioritized Insights: We transform raw data into strategic insights, prioritizing containers that require immediate attention, such as those with customs holds, well before they become operational headaches. ✔️ Quality data is transformative, enhancing your operational framework to be smoother, more predictable, and less prone to surprises. It’s about enabling you, the decision-makers, to act confidently and proactively. As we continue our journey at Terminal49, our commitment remains unwavering: to ensure that data works for you, enhancing your operational decisions in a fast-moving world. With the right information at the right time, your logistics operations can be more than efficient—they can be predictive and proactive.

How are LTL and expedited shipping comparable? They appear to live on opposite ends of the freight spectrum when you are speaking transit, but they share a lot of similarities when you’re seeking quality service. Andy B. from BlueGrace Logistics and I held a panel at #DATCON2023 speaking about these important services. 1. Strategy -housing a strategy is the single most important factor of both services. Sharing discovery and continuous conversations with current metrics and data provided by a shipper to create depth to their strategy and a workable plan that brings VALUE. 2. Niche services- for shippers they are seeking solutions. Their days are FULL of many different task; it’s up to the service provider to create the strategy around their niche service. Working with companies that focus on a niche service allow a shipper to have industry experts presenting and executing those solutions of what they do best. 3. Transparency - How are you executing this plan? What’s working? What isn’t? Every supply chain is different and both services require truth and transparency to consistently execute the plan all while evolving it. 4. Multiple solutions - it’s not one size fits all for both services. It is needed to come to the table with a slew of options with flexibility allowing the shipper to pivot their businesses and ask honest questions on what they can and should do during these pivots. Have a question on your expedited or LTL strategy? We want to hear it! Thank you DAT Freight & Analytics for allowing us to host this conversation and thank you David Scandlyn, MBA for being a fantastic moderator.

"For both small and large logistics players, the past few years served as a stark reminder of the vulnerabilities in ocean supply chains. Labor shortages, material shortages, the COVID-19 pandemic, ongoing political tensions, and conflicts, to name a few, disrupted the flow of goods and services, while causing uncertainty along the adjacent shipping routes. While these unprecedented disruptions appear to be settling down, 2023 presents a new set of risks and challenges for ocean freight stakeholders, with some continuing from the pandemic era. Many large-scale logistics players have turned to and invested in visibility technologies to ensure these past mistakes are not repeated. However, SME logistics firms have been left behind, struggling with delays, costly disruptions, and dissatisfied customers due to limited insights into their ocean freight shipments. The cost and complexity of implementing high-end visibility solutions have been a major hindrance. Relying on outdated tracking methods and communication leaves you with incomplete insights into your shipments, leading to operational inefficiencies. Without real-time visibility and data-driven insights, staying ahead of these changes becomes an uphill battle." SeaVantage

Think logistics and the Founding Fathers don't mix? Think again! Picture this: It’s 1777. George Washington, facing doubt and accusations of incompetence, takes on his weapon... a pen! He sends Congress detailed handwritten reports and maps, visually chronicling his every move. Thankfully, trust was soon restored, support was reaffirmed, and a revolution marched on. Just like those maps, photos, and videos in today's logistics world are trust-builders. Think timestamped proof of delivery, crystal-clear inventory snapshots, and the ability to show, not just tell, your clients exactly what's happening with their precious cargo. At LoadProof, we're rewriting the logistics narrative, one image at a time. We empower you to tell your story through visual evidence, building stronger partnerships, and fueling faster payments (because ain't nobody has time for slow invoices!). So, next time you face a logistical challenge, channel your inner Founding Father. Don't just explain, visualize. With photos, you will build trust, forge stronger bonds, and keep your business moving forward! #Logistics #SupplyChain #Innovation #Retail #Target #LocalDelivery #Sustainability #innovation #automation #claims #chargebacks #damage #globaltrade #globallogistics #freight #shipmenttracking #warehousemanagement #realtimevisibility #photodocumentation #3pl #cloud #saas #supplychain #logistics #warehouseoperations #accuracymatters
