Had an engaging couple of days in Pittsburgh at the Metal Powder Industries Federation #AMPM conference. David Scannapieco, Ph.D. gave a talk on chemistry, metallography, and particle characterization for additive manufacturing alloys. And it was great to see many other interesting talks and catch up with longtime friends and collaborators! Yesterday was Eclipse Day here in Cleveland, had a great time with Thomas Sorovetz of AMUG (Additive Manufacturing Users Group) and his fancy telescope!! During totality, the lights of downtown Cleveland turned on for a surreal show. NSL Analytical Services, Inc.

I am super excited to be a co-chair of the upcoming ASTM Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence snapshot workshop in collaboration with the OSU Center for Design and Manufacturing Excellence!
