Hey my lovely LinkedIn Network, I can't believe I've surpassed $1,500 already, this was more than I would have hoped for! I want to thank everyone who has donated thus far. It has meant a lot to me and more importantly, it's helping improve the outcomes of thousands of Children worldwide (not just LA!). I'm shooting for $2,000 by July 21st (currently 83% of goal) and I know you can all help me reach it! We got 3 weeks to go until the big race, but it's never too late to make $1, $5, $10, or even $25 donation! My biggest improvement has been swimming where I've seen almost 1:20 100m times. I believe simulating the actual race day along with open-ocean swims 2x per week will help me meet or exceed my benchmarks. Each month, we ask a member of the Wealth Matters team to nominate a charity, which we then donate to. Recently, our Client Relationship Manager Chantelle chose Sickle Cell Society. Chantelle said: "I chose SCS because I have sickle cell trait and my cousin has sickle cell disorder. I wanted to give blood to help her and others, as I found out that I have a rare blood group that can help people with sickle cell. As there’s not that much awareness on it and I just wanted to give what I could."
