Have been looking at this consultation in relation to filtering and monitoring and note the inclusion of ChatGPT however the focus remains on text when more content is audio, image and video; But there isnt really a dynamic filtering solution for this type of content https://buff.ly/4cSTRzg

My guess is if it cannot be dynamically filtered, then the only choice becomes block. Be interesting to see how this pans out.

I do think there is an element, especially in EdTech, of just slapping an "AI" sticker on products. A quick wander round BETT last year showed this; Ask vendors how AI is used and I got some very confused explanations or just a blank look.

I would suggest we are all seeing an increase in phishing emails and that they are getting better and better. Cybercrime is low cost, high gain so no surprise it continues to be on the rise.

Is interesting we worry about the negative implications of technology with children but at same time explore the possible positives for the elderly. Its a balance, tech isnt good or bad, its the use that makes the difference.

Can we stop talking of "banning" phones. If phones are bad for learning then what about use by adults? It is about managing phone use in terms of the apps, the time spent, etc. Its more complex!

It is always saddening to hear when data is leaked however when it is patient data it is all the more serious; I think we will all need to deal with increasing amounts of data being leaked online in future.

I love the viral videos of AI mishaps, however equally there are videos of human mishaps. The question therefore becomes, does AI suffer more or less mishaps that where humans are involved?
