This 👇 is why we need diversity around decision making tables! [video description a group of men taking longer to do the hula hoop challenge than a group of women because the women helped each other by thinking outside the box] #genderequity #leadershipdevelopment #nomorehiding #nomoreexcuses #rise #visibleleadership #visibilitymatters #closethegap

Illustrative AND funny!

Putting my PM hat on. The men's team can be an example of a traditional team and the women's team can be an example of an agile team. Both are using what they know to execute the project. I wonder if the women's team watched the men's team and developed their strategy from there? Either way, I love the presentation of how minds think differently. This is why the most successful teams are diverse. 😊

It’s interesting to see the mixture of comments on here. Women applauding and men losing their shit and going mental. I think this in itself is something to look at. This is actually quite interesting, maybe women face this direct attack by insecure and angry men in the workplace, maybe that’s why women struggle to succeed. Where I see an opportunity to empower, others seem to want to take them down. Lads, it’s a harmless video on a hula hoop game, calm down. Perhaps take up a Muay Thai class, or go to the gym 🤣 not sure how this can hurt your feelings, but I am quite ashamed for you

I'm so tired of seeing stuff like this used to promote DEI. This video and the message used is centered on competition: Women vs. Men. That's NOT diversity, inclusion, equality. DEI is about connection, not separation. We have to stop saying one sex is better than the other, comparing one sex with another, and applauding "ourselves". Imagine this video, but with two mixed teams, and then seeing one woman come up with the idea and lead her mixed team to the win instead. Would that make a difference to the message? We must come together to create connection and inclusion. Let's remove competition and comparison in our messaging.

Love the video but I will not sleep tonight unless I get some clarification on the rules: Are the end people allowed to hold the hoop with their free hand or not? If not, both teams are cheaters and should be fired.

You missed the bit where men steal the strategy and pass it off as their own 😅

Wow! LinkedIn has done it again! 😂 The comment section here is a course that should be studied or included in a survey or curriculum. This itself is diversity in various shades. As some folks fetched their punching gloves to attack another, some simply decided to sacrifice their sleep for the Root Cause Analysis, while some decided to take notes for the growth of their team, and others just got entertained. Incase I missed the category you fall in, please let us know. Which one is yours? This is one of the reasons I love LinkedIn. Serving us with a level platform with diverse views to learn and grow from. Thank you Gemma Stow for raising dust. It really went dusty in the comment section.😎

A rigged scene to promote the idea that somehow women are better than men. Made to look like a spontaneous example of how diverse thinking women are, and how we can't do without them, etc etc. Newsflash. We don't need to dig videos for cheap likes. Women and men are diverse thinking. We can't do without either. The world is and always will be a better place when harmony exists between them. Stop with the cheap Facebook like me crap. Women's equality is not a negotiation, neither is that of non white people. Get on and practice it. Stop talking about it, just do it. Women, minorities, disabled people etc are sick of the talkers.

If there was ever a case for #diversity in the boardroom I think this is it!! As the great late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, U.S. Supreme Court Justice, a champion for justice and #genderequality said, “Women belong in all places where decisions are being made.” 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
