Position: Purchasing Officer   Job Descriptions: 1) Assist department manager on sourcing matters and negotiation with vendors to obtain best quotes and prices according to customer’s requirement. 2) Responsible for full spectrum of procurement activities (including global sourcing) , ensure compliance with the related policies and procedures, cost saving and continuous improvement. 3) Responsible in vendor selection, management and vendor yearly performance evaluation and assessment . 4) Provide Administrative , Functional and Project Support to optimize procurement services. 5) Originate & update purchasing procedures to ensure relevance and compliance to set standards. 6) Check & verify that suppliers selection complies to set standards & procedures and verify PO data accuracy. 7) Regular review of supplier’s performance to drive improvements in quality, cost, delivery & service. 8) Drive or support cost reduction through effective negotiations, sourcing of alternate materials/suppliers and staff participation in value engineering programs. 9) Ensure Purchasing computerized system is properly maintained and enhanced when required. 10) Drive supplier management programs and continuously support improvement of inventory control. 11) Continuously plan to improve work environment, methods and resource utilization while critically reviewing & monitoring operating indicators. 12) Keep superior/management continually updated on the progress of purchasing dept activities, accomplishments and key focuses. 13) Ensure dept activities are carried out in compliance to company safety & environmental objectives. 14) Undertake other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the company from time to time.   Job Requirements/Qualifications: 1) Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree 2) Experience in purchasing process for Semiconductor Materials 3) Familiar with inventory system 4) Good negotiation skills, communication and interpersonal skills 5) Good in computer and familiar with MS Office – Words/Excel 6) Good at numbers, calculations and use of statistical tools to analyse data 7) Able to do presentation 8) Possess a vast working knowledge in the related practices in the industry 9) Able to work independently 10) Full Time Position base in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia

Plating Process/ Chemical Engineer or Senior Plating/ Chemical Engineer Key Roles & Responsibilities · Responsible for yield & quality KPI. · Manage plating line process control, chemical analysis & material consumption effectively. · Coordinate new products and new equipment buy-off at plating production. · Drive for cost reduction and improvement projects. · Responsible for reviewing and updating the FMEA and work instruction (WI). · Analyse SPC data and ensure process capabilities are within the specification. · Generate effective 8D reports. · Leading the technicians for existing and newly assigned projects. Academic Qualification & Work Experience · Possess a degree in Chemistry/ Plating Technology/ Chemist and Engineering (Chemical). · More than 2 years working experience with a technical background in the semiconductor Plating industry and Wastewater Treatment Plant. · Able to communicate and write in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin. · Full Time Position base in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia
