Over the past three days, Daniela Hulpus and I visited our team in Poland, and it was an enriching experience.   During our stay, we had the pleasure of meeting with our inspiring HR team, collaborating closely, and exchanging perspectives on ongoing HR initiatives in Poland. It was really insightful to delve into the details of our operations and see the dedication and innovation that fuels our HR efforts in the region.   A significant highlight of our visit was the opening of Diversity and Inclusion Focus groups. It was great to meet and exchange and discuss our experiences especially in the dimensions age and disabilities. Retail is a people business!   I'm pleased to share an important update on our efforts to continually improve the employee experience at MediaMarktSaturn. Our biannual Net Promoter People (NPP) Employee Survey serves as a critical measure of our team's satisfaction and informs our strategy for workplace enhancement. I am proud to announce that since 2021 we have registered a remarkable +35 point increase in employee satisfaction. A 73% response rate to our latest survey underscores the commitment of our staff. As we move forward, we will concentrate on refining our leadership, career development opportunities, and communication. These are essential in maintaining our trajectory toward an exceptional employee experience.   Thank you to our dedicated teams for your continuous input and hard work. It is all about experience! This week MediaMarktSaturn´s great leaders came together for the Leadership Meeting in Spain. A highlight of this event is our Experience Award ceremony, where we honor outstanding projects that help us to progress in line with our strategy. As CHRO of course Employee Experience is my favorite award category. I am happy to share with you the winner project, that shows more than promising potential in terms of Employee Experience: The "Experience Champion App" from MediaMarkt BeNeLux. The App, which was the brainchild of one of our employees, Jay de Jong, has a great gamification approach. It accompanies our employees on their journey to becoming "Experience Champions", offers valuable insights into their own performance and shows them where there is still room for improvement. We see positive effects in terms of customer satisfaction and brand perception. There is also a great potential as the app could be integrated in the onboarding of new store employees. The best is yet to come. We will keep you updated. Congratulations to team, whose outstanding performance impressively shows how the employee experience can be brought to life! The efforts of the developers, who built the Experience Champions App on top of their daily work have more than paid off!
