Yesterday marked the end of 4 magical years at iCrossing UK. Since handing in my notice, I have done a lot of reflecting on my time here, which has brought me so much pride and gratitude. This was my second ‘proper’ job out of uni; I started as a Social Media Strategist, grew into a Digital Strategist, and am leaving as proud Audience Intelligence Director.
I am so thankful for the opportunities this agency has given me - from working with bucket list brands on award-winning projects, to launching and leading the company’s influencer marketing product, and working alongside some incredible talent. I am leaving with a whole new skillset and more confident and self-assured than I’ve ever been.
There have been so many highs, but of course, my personal highlight by far, has to be my beloved Audience Intelligence team. Being involved in setting up an entirely new department after identifying a growing need for continued audience insight from clients - and doing it alongside the most inspiring team of women who I now consider to be lifelong friends - is something that I’ll hold onto forever. It’s rare to come by a team and a manager who you feel inspired and wholeheartedly supported by, and who champion each other every day, so I’d like to give a special mention to Maria Kain, Charlotte Willmott and Rosie Fleming - my OG Spices 🌶️🤌🏼
It is thanks to this incredible team and the skills I’ve learnt, that I realised my deep love and obsession with audiences and market insight. And as much as it fills me with sadness to be leaving iCrossing, I am grateful for the doors it has opened up.
So here’s to the future! Over and out, iCrossing UK, you’ve been immense ✖️
