Play Ball! ⚾️ We had a blast today at the ribbon cutting for the KAI-designed YMCA Adaptive Sports Complex! We are beyond proud of the $5.2 million 5,723 SF project at the South County YMCA campus, which is all about making sports accessible for players with disabilities. The complex has some awesome features, including a field named after St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, a barrier-free dugout, synthetic turf field, accessible field and walking track, and a sensory-rich playground. This incredible project was brought to life by Cardinals Care, the team’s charitable foundation dedicated to caring for kids, who teamed with the Gateway Region YMCA, Boniface Foundation, and Miracle League.
