Asphalt is usually the most expensive asset that a city or private community owns. Road networks cost millions or even billions of dollars to build, but they also have a limited useful life. Asphalt begins to deteriorate almost as soon as it's installed. If left untreated, the useful life of asphalt is somewhere around 20-30 years. But what happens when the asphalt reaches the end of its useful life? Major expenses for underfunded cities and private communities. There is a way to extend the useful life of asphalt, reducing the cost of asphalt ownership.
