Short barcodes and small employee ID numbers often carry tales of dedication and legends in the making. Such is the case with Coach Glenn Cunningham, KISD Employee #19, who has served at Killeen ISD for 35 years and led students as “Coach” for 46. Before he can step into retirement, several of his former students, assistant coaches, coworkers, and even Coach Blomquist who led him at Killeen High School shared epic stories of how they have all been impacted and inspired to lead extraordinary lives thanks to the KISD legend himself. From playing at Killeen High to being a key coach at Ellison, and even building the Ellison baseball field, Coach Cunningham has made a huge impact on Killeen ISD. Congratulations on your retirement, Coach Cunningham. You have created a lasting legacy and left a big imprint in our hearts! #WeAreKISD #TeamKISD
