Kirk Pathumanun’s Post

Quick highlights from Techbite 5.0: duPhonics showcased an innovative metaverse booth that drew significant interest and excitement. I also delivered a two-minute stage pitch without any slides, which turned out to be a unique and engaging experience. Much gratitude to KX for the opportunity to participate in this incubation program and take our metaverse Gen AI product from Bangkok to Korea. One key question I encountered from a diverse audience—investors, professionals, and even those older than Gen Z in Thailand—was, "Why teach Gen Alpha in the Metaverse?" My response was straightforward: “Well, you could have learned STEM and literacy from a book, but you choose to be on Zoom because it’s convenient. So Gen Alpha chooses to be on Roblox rather than Zoom because the immersiveness is what they grew up with during the pandemic.” The metaverse didn’t take off as people expected because the lack of content, well Gen AI just change the game and duPhonics is ahead of the curve. Stay tuned for more content from the show. #duphonics #metaverse #edtech #genai #techbite5.0 #startp
