If growers have high-performing fields, you may wonder whether a fungicide application is necessary. In a 2020 study on soybeans, we found that high-yielding fields actually see an even bigger impact from fungicide and insecticide applications. In the study, we tested a set of “normal management” plots and a set of “high-yield management” plots. The study was conducted over three sites and replicated a minimum of six times per site. In the end, we saw a yield increase of 5.5 bushels per acre in the normal management and 8.1 bushels per acre in the high-yield management category, all from an R3 fungicide and insecticide application. We're proud to help growers exceed their yield expectations—no matter where their starting point is.

The main law of #agriculture is the law of limiting factors or minimum, which was formulated and popularised in 1840 by Justus von Liebich 🙋♂️ This law states that the amount of crop yield depends on the factor that is in minimum or excess. In practice, the effect of this law is manifested in the fact that one factor that is in shortage or excess leads to a sharp decrease in the effectiveness of the combined factors on the yield. If this is translated into plant nutrition, the level of crop yields depends on the #nutrient that is in short supply or in excess ❗️ 👇 To visualise the law of minimum, we use the so-called Liebich barrel, where each barrel plate is a nutrient (or life factor), and water is the harvest that will be poured out at the level of the lowest plate. This is an example of the law of minimums. #Soil contains all the #mineral nutrients that cultivated plants need, except for one, such as boron or zinc. #Plants will grow on such soil, but the yield will be quite low. If we add the right amount of boron (zinc) to the soil, this will lead to an increase in yield. But if you add any other elements (e.g. #nitrogen, #phosphorus, #potassium) or even ensure that all of them are in optimal amounts, but without boron (zinc), there will be no effect. Share your opinion with us in the comments on this topic🤔💚

Myande biological fertilizer fermentation tower is specialized for the treatment of animal waste in pig farms, poultry farms, and cattle farms through the process of fermentation. It is designed to provide optimal conditions for the growth and multiplication of microorganisms responsible for the breakdown and conversion of organic materials into nutrient-rich fertilizers. Once the fermentation process is complete, the resulting material is known as biofertilizer, which is rich in essential nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. This biofertilizer can then be used in agricultural fields or gardens to enhance soil fertility and promote plant growth. Overall, Myande biological fertilizer fermentation tower plays a crucial role in the efficient and controlled production of organic fertilizers, contributing to sustainable agriculture practices and reducing reliance on chemical fertilizers. 🌍📝 Poncho Votivo Precise, the newly introduced seed treatment by BASF, represents a noteworthy advancement for soybean cultivation. This treatment offers a multifaceted approach, combining a living biological barrier to counter nematodes and an insecticide for immediate defense against a range of early-season insect pests. Nematode damage can significantly impact soybean growth and yield potential, and Poncho Votivo Precise's unique combination of biological and insecticidal components creates a synergistic defense mechanism. The biological element grows alongside the root system, safeguarding soybeans from nematodes, while the insecticide provides immediate protection against key insect threats. Furthermore, this treatment promotes early-season plant vigor by effectively combating a broad spectrum of above- and below-ground insects and pests. The rapid efficacy against pests such as aphids, seed corn maggots, bean leaf beetles, white grubs, and grape colaspis is a valuable asset to soybean growers, ensuring a strong start to the growing season and potentially leading to increased soybean yields. https://lnkd.in/dJEfQzRX #EnsuringFoodSecurity #YourFavouriteFarmer 24/7 👑 BASF Agricultural Solutions BASF #PonchoVotivoPrecise #SoybeanFarmers

Fish was used in the past as a fertilizer because it contains phosphorus and the decomposition of fish gives a strong organic substance that helps speed up germination and protect potatoes from rot This method is considered expensive in countries that do not have great fish wealth, but is very economical for countries that have great fish wealth. It is still used in some European countries, such as Norway, and this method was very popular in the past due to the lack of fertilizer. Currently, those who use the sardine cultivation method have high-quality and expensive potatoes.

🌍📝 Utilizing an inappropriate fertilizer in the cultivation of tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum) can yield unfavorable outcomes. It is imperative to align the fertilizer selection with the precise nutritional requirements of tomato plants. The utilization of a fertilizer possessing an incorrect nutrient composition may result in suboptimal growth, diminished harvests, or even harm to the tomato plants. To circumvent this issue, it is advisable to conduct a soil analysis and seek guidance from local agrarian specialists to ascertain the apt fertilizer for your tomato crop. 📠✉️ agricconsultant995@gmail.com #EnsuringFoodSecurity #PaschalFarmsInternational #YourFavouriteFarmer 24/7 👑

Another corn field is planted in Iowa with Biolevel MaizeNP. This farm operation trialed Biolevel MaizeNP comprehensibly last season and achieved consistent positive response across 4 different Beck's corn hybrids (5909Q, 4898SXP, 5899SX, 5379D2). The Biolevel treatments achieved a yield increase of +8.3 bu/ac over the whole farm average. When trialed against a Nitrogen fixing competitor product, Biolevel MaizeNP was 19.7 bu/ac higher across all 4 hybrids. This shows that a comprehensive microbial products, including solubilizers for P and K delivery in addition to N-fixers, delivers superior performance. Looking at N delivery in isolation is falling short: What we want to deliver is also a changed crop response to Nitrogen. https://lnkd.in/eSuEAnsU #corn #planting #Biolevel #MaizeNP #microbes #soilhealth #yield Beck's Hybrids Trevor Shea Bill Cordingley Nathalie Gibson Laurence Berman Andrea McVeigh
