#Spotlight moment on Priscilla Hill, CSR at Lowell RMV.
I have been employed at the RMV in Lowell, Massachusetts for a year and a half now. My main responsibility is to provide excellent customer service to all our clients. This includes issuing licenses and vehicle registrations, assisting with form and application completion, and providing information on vehicle registration and titling requirements and guidelines.
Before joining the RMV, I worked as a Customer Service Representative in the banking industry for 35 years. However, it was an employee who used to work at the RMV and has since retired who inspired me to pursue a career at MassDOT.
One of my proudest achievements is being a mother to my sons. They have made me incredibly proud, and I am so grateful. Additionally, being hired by the RMV has been a long-standing goal of mine since the early eighties.
My secret talent is styling hair. It's something I enjoy and have developed a skill for over the years.
My advice to others is to go after whatever you want to do and experience in life. Never give up on your dreams. With hard work and faith, anything is possible.
When I first started working here, I received many compliments from customers who appreciated how nice I was to them. They mentioned that it was the best experience they had ever had at the RMV. There is a misconception that all RMV workers are rude and mean, but I and my business partners prove otherwise every day!
I strongly believe that everyone deserves to be celebrated, and it shouldn't be limited to a specific day. I am a firm believer in human rights and treating everyone with respect and dignity.
