Team Mohawk was honored to attend the first annual United Way of Gordon County Unity Awards banquet in Calhoun, Georgia. The event focused on unity by bringing the community together to support creating a lasting impact in Gordon County and being United4Gordon. The awards highlighted the work of Partner Agencies, Community Partners, and Volunteers. Community All-Stars were also recognized for their commitment to giving back through time, volunteer projects, corporate gifts, and more. Mohawk is proud to be recognized as a Community All-Star and be United4Gordon!

“During my military career, I served as a helicopter mechanic and air crewman (crew chief). After many deployments, I became an expert in logistics and tracking materials, such as aircraft parts, special tools, and munitions. My military experience, along with my degree from East Carolina University, made me a perfect fit in my current role as the inventory control team lead. Every day, I face common as well as new and interesting challenges. Coming up with ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency for Mohawk is one of my favorite challenges. Recently, our Calhoun campus partnered with Operation Gratitude by writing letters to active-duty service members, veterans, and first responders to express their appreciation. Operation Gratitude is a non-profit that provides opportunities to express gratitude to all who serve and have served our country. We are proud to partner with this organization in support of our heroes! 🇺🇸

Meet Leslie and Turtle, employees at our Glasgow, Virginia facility, who truly embody More With Mohawk! They invented a new, innovative tubing system for an automated creel at Glasgow! Through trial and error with different materials, they built their new design at home, tested them within job rotation, and found a way to fix the problem! We're thrilled to congratulate them on this achievement! 👏
