Put through the wringer.. Have you hear the term? Our award entrants have certainly been put through the wringer at NCA HQ. The finalists will be announced here tomorrow and if they have made it through they can feel very proud. First up they needed to be selected in round one. A set of judges whittled down the long lists, into short lists using our evaluation criteria. From there all entrants were anonymised and sent to three different judges in our judge pool. Each question in the award submission was scored against the category criteria. They also have it a WOW factor score. This section carried a 75% weighting. It was then scored in relation to elements the judges were looking for, such as authenticity, celebrating success, storytelling and sharing the rough with the smooth. This carried a weighting of 25%. The scores were then collated, judges callibration carried out, and a number of finalists chosen relative to the number of entrants we received in each category.
