 Learning From Equipment Purchases: A Filmmaker's Reflection Purchasing my first camera, the T7i, was a lesson in unexpected costs and the real needs of filmmaking. Beyond the camera, the essentials like a dummy battery and ND filters added up. Looking back, the T7i purchase, initially seeming affordable, taught me the importance of considering the total cost of ownership in filmmaking, not just the camera's price tag. My journey with the T7i was filled with mixed feelings. The camera had its drawbacks in autofocus and noise levels, highlighting the need for good lighting in shooting." The experience with T7i, from its initial disappointment to understanding its value, was a lesson in making the most of what you have, adapting and learning along the way." Despite its limitations, my time with the T7i turned into a valuable learning experience, teaching me to research thoroughly and understand my real needs before purchasing."

Tutorial videos in which the instructor narrates and explains what is being demonstrated, rather than just show, are proven to be more effective. When recording tutorial videos, it is important to stimulate the use of the user’s visual and auditory memory in order to increase their understanding of what is being taught. #elearning #onlineclasses #coursecreators
